Letters from Lockdown, Week 1 (Covenant Sunday)

Now that we’re back online the Church of the Resurrection at The Hub Belfast has been meeting on Zoom, with a link sent to all our friends and chaplaincy subscribers on both email and Facebook (The Hub Chaplaincy). When we get the chance to upload audio or video from the service we will.

In this season we’re trying to learn a thing or two from the ‘Letters from Lockdown’.. those letters written in the New Testament from a place of lockdown and imprisonment.

Believe it or not we are not the first followers of Jesus to get it tough… so how then might we live?

Yesterday, in amongst other things Chaplain Barry shared some thoughts from Philippians 1, along with leading us in an act of Covenant – a wonderful Methodist tradition at the beginning of the New Year..

Whether you’re on replay or watching for the first time… we hope it is of some encouragement to you.. Keep an eye out on the Hub Belfast webapp and social media for more audio, video and writing over the weeks that lie ahead.. Blessings..
