Mindfulness at the Hub / Episode 8

Breathing is pretty important to being alive. It is also an important part of our mindfulness practice.

‘If your heart is broken, you’ll find God right there; if you’re kicked in the gut, he’ll help you catch your breath.’ Psalm 34:18 (The Message Translation)

‘I hate all this silly religion, but you, God, I trust. I’m leaping and singing in the circle of your love; you saw my pain, you disarmed by tormentors, You didn’t leave me in their clutches but gave me room to breath.’ Psalm 31:6-13 (The Message Translation)

Maybe today you need room to breathe, to process some thoughts, some space in your day to catch your breath. Maybe you need rest. Maybe you need restored, filled up once again by the breath of God breathing on and in you.
